the new frontier mission 5 & Thieves guild
stuck at mission 6 of thieves guild. i can not use the key on door to take the fish.

We are able to trade with black Bert so my theory is that since we are able to trade with him without doing the quest, its bugging mission 5 of the new frontier with Wyrdin.

You said there is no bug, i have bought 20 more almanac of magic and he still replies with "wrong word" for ALL of them.


I've reported these two issues a month ago man.

I'm going to do this quest offline to see if there really is a bug in the scripts or if you're not getting the sequence right.

I'm legit following the instructions straight from

for mission 6 of thieves i followed the first method. she gave me the key and when i try to use it nothing.

I have also tried buying the item from black bert and reporting to dorion but he doesnt accept it.

Starting next SS I released a small fix related to the NPCs of mission 5.
After that you should be able to proceed.
Anyway let me know if there are any new problems below.

Yes it worked, i was able to finally complete the thieves guild quest. Ill try the new frontier next...

edit: he still replies to all the different phrases "wrong word"

Dude, I tested this, you need to test all the answers until you get it, because I removed all the variables that could go wrong.
