he Soulpit Challenge: Are You a Master or Just Another Hunter? Climbing the final snowy steps, I came face-to-face with a gigantic skull, its hollow eyes and gaping jaw frozen in a silent roar. The words of a hooded man I met at Frodo's tavern echoed in my mind: "Are you a master, or just a slayer?" The night before, he had approached me after overhearing my tales of dragon slaying. "This is a soul core," he said, handing me a crystalline object that now rested in my hand, shimmering as though it trapped the essence of a dragon within. "Far to the north, off the beaten path, lies a place where the boldest can prove their mastery. So, what do you say?" As I stepped through the massive maw marking the entrance, I spotted a group of adventurers disappearing through an obelisk. "So, this is it," I muttered. "The Soulpit. Let’s see if I’m ready for this!" What Is the Soulpit? The Soulpit is a new opportunity to test your mastery over Tibia's creatures. Whenever you defeat a fiendish monster, there is a low chance of obtaining a soul core of that creature. On rare occasions, you may even receive the soul core of an uncommon, rare, or very rare creature within the same Bestiary class. Once you've obtained a soul core, head to the Soulpit, located in the northeastern part of Hrodmir. You can assemble a team of up to five players or dare to venture there alone. Offer the soul core to the obelisk in the entry chamber and brace yourself for the challenge! Inside the Soulpit, you will face progressively tougher waves of descendants from the creature whose soul was captured in the core, culminating in a final battle against a particularly formidable foe. Soulpit creatures are empowered by Sinister Embrace, gaining strength, and their high initial resilience varies by wave. However, they do not drop loot, cannot be tamed or skinned, and do not contribute to kill counters or Bestiary progress. Additionally, the final adversary will possess one of three special abilities:
Right upon entering the pit, the setting will reveal which special ability you’ll face. Rewards for the MasterDefeating the final enemy unlocks Animus Mastery for that creature for all participants present at the time of its defeat. This permanent bonus grants 1% additional experience per unlocked Bestiary stage for the creature, up to a maximum of 3% when its Bestiary entry is fully completed. Here I stand, at the brink of the Soulpit, ready for battle. Will I emerge a master among creatures, or just another whisper in the shadows of this legendary place? Coming next: Something big and terrifying, more frightening than you ever thought possible... for a plant. |
